Olga Swanepoel, a registered Industrial Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), trades as Boundless Industrial Psychology Consulting. Boundless Industrial Psychology Consulting is a consultancy that provides professional services related to the broad fields of Industrial Psychology and Human Resource Management.
At Boundless Industrial Psychology we are committed to protecting your privacy and to ensure that your Personal Information is collected and used properly, lawfully and transparently.
This Privacy Policy explains how Boundless Industrial Psychology Consulting obtains, applies and discloses Personal Information, in accordance with the requirements of the Protection of Personal Information Act. Boundless Industrial Psychology Consulting collects and processes Personal Information mainly to enable us to deliver our professional services according to our clients’ specific needs and legitimate purposes. The information we collect generally include names, organisation names, contact information and ID numbers (when specifically required); and at times we collect intellectual/assessment-related information of data subjects during the performance of specific projects that require the use of psychometric and other assessments.
Boundless Industrial Psychology Consulting will receive Personal Information pertaining to data subjects when a query or request is submitted via Boundless Industrial Psychology Consulting’s electronic platforms or facilities, including via its website, or by way of e-mail, telephone lines, or via social media platforms. We may also collect Personal Information directly by requesting the necessary and optional information we require to deliver on our work.
Website usage information may be collected using “cookies” which allows us to collect standard internet visitor usage information which are de-identified. In addition, where necessary your information may be retained for legal or research purposes, such as with the HPCSA’s requirement for Industrial Psychologists to store relevant information for a period of five years, however this will be indicated where applicable. Boundless Industrial Psychology Consulting makes all reasonable effort to keep its electronic communication facilities and resources, including its website, secure at all times; however cannot guarantee the security of any information provided to or by Boundless Industrial Psychology Consulting through Boundless Industrial Psychology Consulting’s website, URLs, e-mail, telephone lines, internet or social media platforms. The latter implies that certain information cannot be destroyed immediately upon completion of certain work in order to maintain the required objectivity, ethics, confidentiality, anonymity and legal requirements of Industrial Psychologists. When the Personal Information Boundless Industrial Psychology Consulting holds no longer requires to be kept, Boundless Industrial Psychology Consulting will ensure that the information is securely destroyed. Should a service provider be used for this purpose, Boundless Industrial Psychology Consulting will impose appropriate security, privacy and confidentiality obligations on such service provider to keep the information secure.
You have the right to request a copy of the Personal Information that we have about you. However, Boundless Industrial Psychology Consulting acts in accordance with the regulations and guidelines of the HPCSA, with implies that certain information cannot be divulged to data subjects in order to maintain the required objectivity, ethics, confidentiality and anonymity required by Industrial Psychologists. In this case, we will share the Personal Information that does not contravene these regulations and guidelines.
